You Know...that Authentic Porcelin Tile...

We got the cement backer board with the big load of lumber and supplies in June...so the pile of cement board has been being moved around and tripped over for 6 months. This weekend...gone! We laid what we needed in the kitchen and brought the last couple of sheets upstairs for our bathroom. The room looks huge!! No scaffolding, no cement board...it is those little things in life! Teddy got a little tool kit from Aunt Nancy and Chris for Christmas, so he came in saying, "I help Daddy." with his hammer in hand. He hammered the screws after Daddy screwed them in.
Yes, it was snowing a bit when we were using the wet saw this weekend. In between cuts, icicles were forming on the edge of the saw! Oh, what we will do to get a job done.

We got the appliances out and tiled under...it is looking so good!!!

Charles and the kids did the grouting on Sunday while I was at work...Seth and Ben ran the float and the sponges.

I got home at 7:00 to a finished floor. It looks so good to not have sub floor and tools all over. The tiles look like slate, but are porcelin. I just love it!! This kitchen is really looking fantastic!
